I like using cheap vodka when make Pure Vanilla. Got some Amazing Vanilla Beans at a great shop in Paris, France. I need to go back and get some more.

Vanilla Bean Kings here in the states is amazing for awesome beans! You can get on Amazon, but best price is their co-op through Facebook. I live 20 miles from them. So far and soft.

I make my vanilla with both bourbon and vodka… not in the same bottles, lol. I use Bulliet Bourbon and Titos. This is my second round on making vanilla. It’s beyond amazing when it’s homemade. My Chocolate Chips are an entire different level. If you don’t know, you have to put it in a dark place and about once a month, shake the jar.
Good luck and I hope you love homemade vanilla as much as I do.
