Sometimes you just wanna make yourself a little treat, sit back, and relax, right? Well I was feeling like that today since it's been crazy the last few weeks in my house. I concocted this delicious Strawberry Lemonade cocktail for me and James. We took it outside, lit a candle, and enjoyed our beautiful backyard. It's the little things that make all the difference when you slow down. So this recipe is dedicated to all of you hard-working people that need a minute to unwind and doing something nice for yourself.
This is wonderful any time of the year but is especially refreshing in the spring and summer time. Great with a savory meal or to have on its own, this drink has restoring properties for the soul!
This cocktail goes wonderfully with my One Pan Gravy Roast Sandwich, my Date Night Chili, or my Baked Ravioli and Cheesy Meat Sauce recipes. I love the contrast of savory and sweet that this drink adds to a nice hearty lunch or dinner.

Storage
- Airtight Container: Transfer the leftover blended cocktail to airtight containers or sealable jars. This helps prevent oxidation and maintains the flavor of the cocktail.
- Refrigeration: Store the sealed containers of blended cocktails in the refrigerator. They should be refrigerated promptly after making them.
- Shelf Life: Homemade blended cocktails typically have a shorter shelf life due to the fresh ingredients used. Aim to consume them within 1-2 days for optimal freshness and taste.
- Separation: It's normal for the ingredients in blended cocktails to separate over time. Before serving, give the container a good shake or stir to recombine the ingredients.
- Freezing (Optional): If you're unable to consume the blended cocktails within a couple of days, you can freeze them for longer-term storage. Pour the cocktails into freezer-safe containers, leaving some room for expansion, and freeze them. Before serving, thaw the cocktails in the refrigerator overnight or at room temperature for a few hours. Give them a stir or shake to recombine the ingredients before serving.
