Ingredients
blank
- 2 Sticks salted butter softened
- 1 tspn salt
- 1 cup sour cream
- 2½ cups cane sugar
- 6 large eggs
- 1 tablespoon lemon zest
- 1 whole lemon squeezed
- 1 tablespoon lemon extract
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1 splash vanilla extract 2 if you're sexy 😉
- 3 cups all purpose flour
blank
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 2 whole lemons squeezed
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
Directions
Preheat oven to 325℉ and oil your bundt pan.
Get your electric KitchenAid Stand mixer and cream your softened butter. I suggest using a low-medium speed. Once the butter is thoroughly creamed, add in remaining ingredients of cake batter and let the kitchen aid mixer combine all ingredients until you have a homogenous batter. I suggest medium speed once all ingredients are in the bowl.
Make sure you bundt pan well oiled and then pour the cake batter contents into the pan.
Place in the oven for about an hour to an hour and ten minutes. Use a toothpick test to determine if the inside is fully cooked enough when you've hit an hour.
Once finished, remove from oven and flip bundt pan over to let the contents slide out. Let cool.
While cooling, combine Icing ingredients in a small mixing bowl. Mix together and drizzle over your bundt cake.
