Ingredients
- 5 eggs
- 1/2 cup all purpose flour
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/4 milk
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 lemon juiced
- Vanilla
- 1 block cream cheese
- Lemon juice and zest
- 2 cups Powdered sugar
- 2 tbsp Heavy cream
Directions
- Start by separating five eggs.
- Put the egg yolks in a bowl and put the egg whites in a mixture bowl.
- Add your sugar to your egg whites and start mixer. Mix until the egg whites form and are light and fluffy.
- In the bowl with your egg yolks, add vanilla, lemon juice, flour, butter, and milk.
- Mix until completely combined.
- Now add your egg whites to the egg yolk mixture and slowly combined them together. Be very careful with this step not to overmix the egg whites. Mixture should still be light and fluffy after combine.
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and pour the batter onto the baking sheet.
- Bake at 350 for 30 minutes.
- Add cream cheese, lemon juice, zest, powdered sugar and cream to a mixing bowl and mix until combined.
- Let cake completely cool.
- Cut the edges of the cake. Make it pretty.
- Then cut into 8 pieces.
- Add your icing the each bottom piece, then top with a piece of the cake.
- Icing the top and decorate. Get creative and have fun! Then enjoy my sweet friend.
