Alright ya'll - remember when you'd go to a party and find cinnamon raisin biscuits?! Well, we're gonna make em!

Ingredients
Biscuits
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- ½ tablespoon cream of tartar
- ½ tablespoon baking soda baking powder can work too!
- ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon of sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract ...2 if you're sexy
- 4 tablespoons of butter cubed
- ½ cup milk
- 1 splash vinegar
- ½ cup raisins
Vanilla Drizzle
- 4 tablespoons of butter melted
- ¼ cup of powdered sugar
- 1 tablespoon Vanilla
Directions
Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease a cast iron pan.
In a large mixing bowl, sift together the flour, cream of tartar, baking soda, ground cinnamon, salt, and granulated sugar. Mix until all the dry ingredients are well combined.
Add the cold cubed butter to the dry ingredients. Using your hands, work the butter into the dry mixture until it resembles coarse crumbs. You want the butter to be evenly distributed throughout the mixture.
Stir in the raisins.
Pour in the milk and splash of vinegar. Stir until the dough just comes together.
Add in the raisins!
Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured surface and gently knead it a few times to bring it together.
Roll out the dough to about ½ to ¾-inch thickness.
Use a round biscuit cutter or a glass to cut out biscuits from the dough. Dip the cutter or glass in flour to prevent sticking. Place the biscuits on the prepared baking sheet or cast iron, leaving a little space between each one.
If desired, sprinkle a pinch of cinnamon and sugar on top of each biscuit for extra flavor.
Bake in the preheated oven for approximately 12 minutes or until the biscuits are golden brown on top and cooked through.
Remove the biscuits from the oven and allow them to cool slightly on a wire rack.
Vanilla Drizzle those biscuits and enjoy!!
