- 1 Cup Warm Milk
- 1 Small Onion Chopped
- 2 Pieces Of Garlic
- 1 Pack Of Mushrooms
- 1 Handful Of Spinach
- 1 Block Of Cream Cheese
- 2 Tbsp Butter
Directions
- Start by adding one pound of bacon to a cast iron skillet and frying on medium heat.
- While the bacon is going, add one cup of warm water to a mason jar with yeast and sugar.
- Mix up really well and sit aside for 10 minutes.
- While you're waiting for the yeast to rise, add butter, sugar, eggs, all your seasonings and flour to your mixer.
- Once your yeast is ready, add it to the mixer and mix until dough starts to come together. usually 2 to 3 minutes.
- Cover and let dough rest for 1 hour.
- Remove bacon from skillet and add onion and garlic. Cook for 4 to 5 minutes.
- Now add mushrooms and spinach to the skillet with the onion and garlic. Cook for another 5 minutes.
- In your mixer, add cream cheese, bacon and veggies and mix until everything is good and combine.
- Once the dough has risen, throw you a little flour down to a work surface and start rolling it out into about a ½ thick oval shape.
- Add that cream cheese mixture to your dough and start spreading it out.
- Now start rolling it into a log shape.
- Take a knife and cut the end pieces off. Then cut into 2 inch thick rolls.
- Preheat oven to 350* degrees.
- Add 2 tablespoon of butter to cast iron and preheat it. Once butter is melted, add your rolls to the cast iron and cover to let rise until oven is preheated.
- Throw them babies in the oven for 25 or 30 minutes or until golden brown on the top.
- Once out of the oven, smother them babies in butter and enjoy my friend!
